Our Staff
Rev. Alan R. Cundiff - Pastor Cundiff and his wife, Keri, came to First UPC in October 2003 and officially became the Senior Pastor in February of 2004. Prior to coming to First UPC, Pastor Cundiff ministered at Calvary Apostolic Church in Louisville, Kentucky where he was involved in the following ministries: Children's ministry, Youth ministry, Senior's ministry, Lay ministry, and led the congregation in praise and worship. Pastor Cundiff also serves the Kentucky District as the Home Missions Secretary and Section U Secretary. It is through his vision that First UPC is becoming a place to be.... a place to belong.
Rev. Russell McCane - Pastor McCane started First UPC in a storefront building in 1970. In 1974, First UPC moved to its current location at 206 Washington. He served as Senior Pastor until 2001 at which time he became the Pastor Emeritus. It has been through hardwork and great sacrifice by Rev. McCane and his family over the last 37 years that have turned a dream into reality.
Rev. G.L. Vittitow - Rev. Vittitow needs no introduction within the United Pentecostal Church. He pastored Calvary Apostolic Church in Louisville, Kentucky for 40 years before retiring in January 2007. He has also served the Kentucky District for over 40 years holding positions as District Youth President, District Secretary, District Superintendent for 12 years, and is currently an Honorary Board Member of both the UPCI and the Kentucky District. His wife Joyce was a vital part of the church in Louisville and also served the Kentucky District as the Ladies Ministry President.
Erik Bruns - Bro. Erik is a young minister at First UPC seeking to fulfill the Will of God for his life. Erik came to First UPC in 2006 from Babourton, Ohio and currently serves as a Lay Minister and is an active member of the Music Team.
Brad Bruns - Bro. Brad came to First UPC in June 2007 from Barbourton, Ohio and immediately felt that God had a work for Him to do. He currently is developing his ministry and is an active member of the Music and Prison Ministry Teams.
